PellTech GFD-0.2 Farmer Pellet Press for Sawdust and Straw The PellTech GFD-0.2 Farmer pellet press is designed for the production of pellets from plant-based and agricultural raw materials, including wood sawdust, cereal straw and other suitable biomass materials. Depending on the characteristics of the raw material and the selected die, the machine can process wood sawdust, cereal straw, alfalfa, sunflower husks, manure and other compostable agricultural waste. 1. Recommended raw material particle sizes are: Wood sawdust: 1–3 mm Straw: 3–6 mm The density of the pellets at the machine outlet can reach up to 1,250 kg/m³, while the bulk density of pellets stored in Big Bags can reach up to 700 kg/m³. 2. Compatible Raw Materials The PellTech GFD-0.2 Farmer can process the following materials, subject to their physical properties and the selected die configuration: Wood sawdust (particle size: 1–3 mm) Cereal straw Alfalfa Sunflower husks Manure Other compostable agricultural waste Each raw material has different physical properties and requires an appropriate configuration of the rotating flat die. 3.
